Vaginal Hysterectomy

A surgical procedure in which the uterus is removed through an incision made in the vagina. This type of hysterectomy is often performed to treat various gynecological conditions such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, uterine prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, or abnormal bleeding. The procedure is less invasive compared to an abdominal hysterectomy, typically resulting in a shorter recovery time and less postoperative pain.
