World Labs is a spatial intelligence AI company focused on developing Large World Models (LWMs) that enable AI systems to perceive, generate, and interact with 3D environments. Founded by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li and experts in computer vision and graphics, the company aims to advance AI capabilities beyond 2D data, facilitating applications in design, gaming, visual effects, and augmented reality. In September 2024, World Labs emerged from stealth mode, announcing over $230 million in funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, and Radical Ventures, with plans to release its first product in 2025.
